Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held before the Department of Finance of the State of Alabama in Room E317 in the State Capitol, City of Montgomery, Alabama, at 10:00 a.m. on June 8, 2017, to determine whether consent should be given Power South Energy Cooperative ("PowerSouth") to issue its Note to the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation in the amount of $73,455,000.


The proceeds of the loan will be used for refinancing portions of existing variable rate indebtedness of Power South and general corporate purposes.


Any person having an interest in these matters may attend the hearing and be heard on the question of whether the issuance of said note serves some public need and is in the public interest.

INVITATION TO BID


Bay District Schools is extending an invitation to all prequalified mechanical contractors to submit a bid to perform all work associated with the HVAC Central Plant Renovations at Hutchison Beach Elementary School, Panama City Beach, Florida.


Sealed bids will be received on June 20, 2017, until 2:00 PM, Central Time, in the Board Room at the Nelson Administrative Building, 1311 Balboa Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32401. The bids shall be opened and read aloud at that time. The work shall consist of replacement of two air cooled chillers, three centrifugal pumps, one gas fired boiler, and associated controls in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by WATFORD ENGINEERING, 4471 Clinton Street, Marianna, Florida 32446.


Bids shall be a lump sum price; segregated bids will not be accepted.


Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer.


Prequalified Mechanical Contractors may obtain documents at the office of the Engineer, 4471 Clinton Street, Marianna, FL 32446. A deposit of $200 per set will be required, made payable to Watford Engineering. Plan and specification deposits by Contractors will be refunded if the Contractor submits a bonafide bid and documents are returned to the Engineer within five calendar days after the bid opening in usable condition. The Engineer's decision on usable condition shall be final. Subcontractors, Material Suppliers and other interested parties may obtain full sets of drawings and specifications by paying to the Engineer $100 per set which is not refundable, and no returns are necessary. Electronic plans shall be available at no charge.


A mandatory PreBid Meeting shall be held for all concerned parties on June 6, 2017 at Hutchison Beach Elementary School, 12900 Hutchison Boulevard, Panama City Beach, FL at 10:00 AM Central Time in the Main Office. Notification of any changes in meeting time/date will be made only to listed plan holders.

INVITATION TO BID


Pursuant to the City Code, the City of Lynn Haven invites sealed proposals for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services related to disaster recovery.
